Professional: assistant Entomologist, ICI Plant Protection, Brazil; volunteer Wildlife Biologist, German Bird Protection Society, Fehmarn, Germany; Pest Management Specialist for the University of Guelph and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, based in Simcoe, Ontario; Research Scientist and Fruit Research Team Leader with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, Pest Management Research Centre, Vineland, Ontario; transfer of work to Montpellier, France, with cross-appointments to l’I.N.R.A. and E.N.S.A.-M, the European Biological Control Laboratory of USDA ARS, and the International Institute of Biological Control, Delemont, Switzerland; Consultant Entomologist, Canada and International; Research Scientist, Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre, Summerland, seconded as Program Director of the Okanagan-Kootenay Sterile Insect Release Board, a $51 million area-wide management program for codling moth in orchards, gardens, wild and public lands.
