Dr
Pree has been a Research Scientist with the Research Branch of Agriculture and
Agri-Food Canada since 1971. He spent four years at the Research Station at
Kentville Nova Scotia and transferred to the laboratory at Vineland Ontario in
1975. Dr Pree has been on transfers of work at Texas A and M University and at
the CSIRO in Canberra, Australia. His research interests are in the chemistry
,detection and management of resistance to pest controls. Although he has been
involved with vegetables and ornamentals, the emphasis of much of his work has
been in the integration of resistance management strategies into IPM systems for
tree fruits. Dr Pree has authored or coauthored over 75 scientific publications
and 150 technical reports.
