Dr. Freeman McEwen
Dr. Freeman L. McEwen is the former Dean of the Ontario Agricultural College, University of Guelph (1983-90) and chair of the Department of Environmental Biology (1972-83). He also was a member of the steering committee for the Canadian Centre of Toxicology and served for many years as a member of the Ontario Pesticides Advisory committee. He is a past president of the Agricultural Institute of Canada and the Entomological Society of Canada.
Dr. McEwen is an entomologist and served fifteen years as Cornell University before coming to the University of Guelph in 1968.
